Hickory Ridge Museum Opens for 2019!

Our living history museum is open to visitors, tours, and school groups Tuesdays through Saturdays from now until November 26th. Meet our Museum Interpreters, Mackenzie Laney, André Jagot, and Taylor Osborne, who will guide visitors through historical cabins and give insight into how people lived here in the 18th and 19th centuries. Mackenzie holds a BS in Public History from Appalachian State University and is working on a graduate degree in Social Work.

Taylor is working towards his degree in history from Appalachian State and is very involved in historical re-enactment.

André, after his retirement from higher education, worked at the Galveston Historical Society, the largest in the U. S.
